NOTICE TO GOVENMENTAL AGENCIES REQUIRED BY THE WORKER ADJUSTMENT AND RETRAINING NOTIFICATION ACT (29 U.S.C. Section 2101, et seq.) The site at which the plant closing will occur is the Centurylink Offline and Click-2-Chat Centers. The location is 1201 Walnut Bottom Rd, Carlisle, PA 17015. 1. The layoff will be permanent. Employees will have the opportunity to search for other jobs within Centurylink, and/or will be eligible for severance benefits and for outplacement services. The first date on which an affected employee may be involuntarily separated from employment is the center closing date of January 17, 2014. We expect all employment separations as a result of this closing to occur on that date. Attached hereto is Exhibit A which contains the job titles of positions to be affected and the number of affected employees in each job classification. "Bumping rights" do not exist for employees. No union represents any of the affected employees
