Product description
Undervattensbetong r en betong avsedd att anvndas vid gjutning av oarmerade konstruktioner under vatten. Betongindustris undervattensbetong uppfyller de krav p sammansttning och egenskaper som stlls i Vgverkets BRONORM. Undervattensbetong levereras i hllfasthetsklass C 28/35, med cementhalterna 350 resp 400 kg/m3 och maximal stenstorlek 16 resp 27 mm. Undervattensbetong levereras normalt endast med cement Anlggningscement Std P (CEM I 42,5 N BV SR LA) och normalt ven med retarderande tillsatsmedel.
Areas of application Underwater pouring is used when pouring all types of non-reinforced underwater structures, mainly base plates surrounding temporary sheet piling that can afterwards be pumped dry, a sealing cake. In the case of pouring construction sections in accordance with the BRONORM standard, HydroBI must be used.

Characteristics
Underwater concrete has the following characteristics: - compression strength equivalent to at least strength classification C 28/35 - slump values on delivery to the construction site being normally 16 cm, 2 cm (S4) - is stable and cohesive, which reduces the risk of washout and sludge forming under water - flow properties that provide good filling of the casting mould.

Handling
Underwater concrete is normally applied by a concrete pump, whereby the discharge pipe has a nozzle valve in order to minimise the washout risk. Normally pouring begins with a cement level of 400 kg/m3 which after 5-10 m3 can be reduced to 350 kg/m3. The pouring ends with the surface layer being carefully vibrated to the necessary level.
