Compatibility with other transformer oils. Nynas transformer oil Nytro Libra is based on well known refining technology and the product is based on a naphthenic crude oil. Nynas Nytro Libra and other Nynas oils are compatible with other well-known transformer oils on the market. Among these oils used at the same market as Nynas and that in service bee shown to be compatible with Nynas oils are Shell Diala oils e.g. Diala B and different Exxon Univolt grades, e.g. Univolt 52 and 80. IEC specification 296 say that oils that meet IEC specification can be mixed together, this statement further verifies above declaration that well known transformer oils are compatible with each other.
