PROJECT SYNOPSIS AUTOMATION OF AGRO BASED GREEN HOUSE

Project Members: Anurudh(1031056),Aviral (1032039),Aman(1031114)Ayush(1031117) In India, Agriculture plays contributes 14% of the countrys GDP. On other hand farmers are wasting water abundantly . This leads to the scarcity of water at the time of requirement . For automatic irrigation controller, we need to measure different parameters i.e. atmospheric temperature, Humidity, Radiation, Soil moisture etc. The key objective of this project is to report on a developed indigenous low cost irrigation scheduler which performs user defined functions and outputs commands This project involves visual inspection of the plant growth, manual irrigation of plants, turning ON and OFF the temperature controllers, manual controlling of waterpump. It is time consuming, vulnerable to human error and hence less accurate and unreliable. At present farmers are doing the irrigation manually, but in our project it is designed to irrigate automatically. We are measuring complex parameters like moisture ,light and temperature and accessing all these parameters through GPS. The system comprises of sensors, Analog to Digital Converter, microcontroller. When any of the above mentioned climatic parameters cross a safety threshold which has to be maintained to protect the crops, the sensors sense the change and the microcontroller reads this from the data at its input ports after being converted to a digital form by the ADC. The microcontroller then performs the needed actions by employing relays until the strayed-out parameter has been brought back to its optimum level.
