Salad marinade with a Chinese/Thai twist Garlic 10 cloves Dried red chillies 2 Ketchup 1 tbsp Soy sauce or fish

ish sauce 1 tbsp Water 2 tbsps Salt 1/8 tsp (Add only if you are adding soy sauce. Fish sauce has enough salt by itself.) Powdered sugar tsp Oil 3 tsps

1. Finely chop the garlic and dried red chillies. Keep aside. 2. Mix soy sauce (or fish sauce), ketchup, water, powdered sugar and salt (if you are using soy sauce) to make the wet mix 3. Heat oil in a small (preferably) non-stick pan. 4. When the oil is hot, add the garlic-chilli mix and fry till the mixture doesnt smell raw anymore. 5. Pour the wet mix into the pan and stir on high flame till the solution reduces by half. 6. Cool completely. 7. Chopped salad vegetables of your choice. Toss the salad with the cooled marinade. 8. Stuff your face .
