Reading Process

Reading proses consists a few of stage. There are four process in this stage. The
first reading proses is sensory proses. Sensory proses is the proses where all visual
and auditory skill will play their own role involving the eyes, ears, toungue and mouth. If
one of the sensory onvolved cant be used, it will interrupt the process of reading.
The second process in reading proses is perceptual. Perceptual is the interpretation
of information from the environment. Perceptual in reading proses can be divided into
discrimination, figure-ground and memory. Discrimination is the ability to distinguish
similarities and differences. Figure-ground is the ability to distinguish an object from the
background. Memory is the ability to recall information that have just seen, heard, or
experienced.
The next prosess is the language prosess. Reading also is known as language arts.
It begin from heard, speak, read and write. Reading will help us in communication.
The last process in reading process is the cognitive process. By reading. Students
needs to thinks in all stage of readings likes the discrimination and understanding the
text. The ability to understand what is read is influenced by the readers vocabulary or
the knowledge of the meaning of words.
As a conclusion, we can conclude that there are four proses in reading process.
There are sensory process,perceptual process, language proses and cognitive process.
