Ordering Information
Use the following information when specifying a gearmotor or gear reducer from SEW. Mounting positions are shown for footed reducers. However, mounting positions are the same for flanged reducers that have the same orientation.

Unless otherwise specified, you will receive the Conduit Box @ 0 and the Cable Entry @ X

Brake Hand Release


The conduit box and brake release use the same coordinate system, where 0 is the same as 9:00 (o-clock). Degrees increase in the CCW direction. If you do not specify otherwise, SEW assembles the hand release CW from the conduit box, as shown in red.
