In 2002, a secret government project into developing a permanent cure for the common cold was launched. This was an attempt to improve productivity within the work place. After scientists experimented on 3 human test subjects, it became apparent that the desired effects were not created, the project was abandoned and locked away when the test subjects started developing concerning symptoms. Last night at the government research lab, the previous work that was contained, was re-discovered and has contaminated all working people within a 5 mile radius. Attempts were made throughout the night to keep the virus contained, but it is quickly spreading. Schools and colleges have now been put on lockdown, streets and buildings in the vicinity have been evacuated due to the rapid speed that virus has spread. Officials are urging people to ration essentials, stay in their homes and lock all doors and windows. Any individuals displaying unusual behaviour should not be approached under any circumstances.
