Subject: Mathematics Jeopardy Grade Level: 3rd Duration: 30 minutes Objectives: Students will be able to quickly think of answers

s to jeopardy math questions based on categories Students will be able to work together with groups to come up with an answer Students will be able to utilize the only projector screen See which group can come up with the most correct answers and win the most money at the end Materials: -Classroom Computer -Classroom Projector (with portable cart) -Pencils -Paper Procedures: Students will be divided into groups of 5, making 6 total groups. The computer will be hooked up to our classroom projector and displayed at the front of class so that every student can see what is on the computer screen. The screen will display a variety of different jeopardy categories looking similar to this: $ Amount Addition Subtraction Multiplication Division 100 200 300 400 500 Each group will have the opportunity to take turns picking categories and dollar amounts and have 10 seconds to answer the question by writing the answer down on paper. NETS-T Standards: 2. Critical Thinking, Problem Solving, and Decision Making: students use critical thinking skills to plan and conduct research, manage projects, solve problems and make informed decisions using appropriate digital tools and resources.
