Objectives
We at the Belgaum Foundry Cluster shall strive to continually improve the infrastructure facilities for foundries and allied industries and there after shall Promote Green and Clean Environment through a) Plantation and maintenance of trees in the industrial areas. b) To help foundries control pollution by installing energy efficient pollution control equipments. c) To set up common sand reclamation plant to protect our natural resources. Provide basic infrastructure like roads, water, and lighting for all industrial areas. Develop a Common Interactive Website/Portal for the easy reach of the customers, suppliers, foundries. Introduce and develop tailor-made Enterprise Resource Planning [E.R.P] software package for the cluster/foundries. Develop common simulation software for the cluster. Create Training and Development facilities to improve the Human skills for Human Resource Development. Combine latest technology and human skills for the better performance of foundries. Establish State of the Art, Research and Development Laboratory and provide Common Quality Testing Facilities. Enhance marketing effort by establishing International Marketing Centre and Castings Display Centre. Undertake any other activity incidental to the Improvement of Quality of Foundry Industry and to make it Internationally competitive. Improve customer relationship by catering to their changing requirements by providing quality products on time at a reasonable and competitive price. Undertake Vendor/Supplier development programmes to give them status of business partners in our progress.
