Atmel based Automatic Traffic Signal Controlling System

ABSTRACT:

In modern world everyone wants their job to be done as soon as possible, no one is ready to wait for no one. As population increases the need also increased. As of transportation plays main role in daily life, it is very hard to find people who not use vehicle. So most of the roads are flooded with car, lorry, bus, bike... etc, which results in heavy traffic. This project is to overcome the drawbacks of manual traffic signalling system. Here we maintain some time period to change the traffic signal step by step, the time period can be display !" displays, whenever the time period value decreases to #ero than change the signal light. In this type technology are more helpful to control traffic in urban areas, and improve the transport management. $e don%t want to continuously monitor traffic, this technology can control automatically.
