After the other guests had departed from the dinner party, Mr. Utterson began to question Jekylls new will. Ive wanted to speak to you Jekyll; You know that will of yours? (pg19) Jekyll began to dodge the questions.

Jekyll succeeds at ensuring Utterson that the Mr. Hyde situation isnt an immense issue. He gets Utterson to believe that he can get rid of Mr. Hyde at any time if he pleases. I have no doubt that you are perfectly right. (pg20) Utterson had ensured Jekyll.

Dr. Jekyll decides to house a dinner party with five or six old cronies (pg19). Mr. Utterson was invited as well.

Mr. Utterson was still curious about the whole Mr. Hyde situation. Utterson decided to deliberately stay after the dinner party has ended to question Dr. Jekyll. Mr. Utterson so contrived that he would remain after the other guests have departed. (pg19)

Oddly enough, Jekyll begins to beg Utterson to drop the curiosity of his new will. Jekyll implies to Utterson that the situation he is in is a very strange one that he would not understand. This is a private matter and I beg you to let it sleep. (pg20)
