Utterson Plot Line Chapter (5 of 8)

Mr. Utterson found himself at Dr. Jekylls door to visit him. The doctor seems extremely sickly and pale. Utterson asks Jekyll, And now, you have heard the news? (pg26) From then on the doctor seemed even sadder than before.

Dr. Jekyll gives Utterson a letter written by Mr. Hyde. Later on Utterson hands the letter to his head clerk Mr. Guest to examine. I should like to hear your view on thatit is an ugly business at the besta murderers autograph. (pg29)

That night Mr. Utterson went to bed very confused and disturbed. He could not believe that Dr. Jekyll forged Mr. Hydes letter. What! Henry Jekyll forged for a murderer! (pg30)

Conveniently, an invitation written by Dr. Jekyll arrived. Mr. Guest compared the two documents side by side and found many similarities. There is a rather singular resemblance; the two hands are in many points identical Mr. Guest claimed (pg29)

Utterson asks if Jekyll happens to be harboring Mr. Hyde. Jekyll replies with, Utterson, I swear to god he cried I swear to god that I will never set eyes on him again. I blind my honour to you that I am done with him in this world. (pg26-27)
