Happy Birthday, Emily!


Emily is 7 years old. When she was a baby she used to blow dry her hair with her head upside down. She likes the colors lime green and turquoise. If she could go anywhere she wanted she would go to Oregon to be with her relatives.

Each week teachers are asked to pick a sample of expemlary work from their class to put on the Exemplary Work Bulletin Board across from the main office. This week Austen, Harry, River, Collin, and Emily P, were honored for their excellent group work in contributing to a science word web about thermometers.

STEM Fun
This year we will be focusing on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). Here we are learning about temperature and thermometers. We are practicing counting by twos (most thermometers use this scale) to read the thermometer and record the results after immersing it in ice water and hot water.
