Some Highlights From Our Week Happy Birthday, Merrick

Merrick is 7 years old now. He can do anything to make his baby sister laugh. Once when he went to a sleepover, he wanted to take a trash bag for a backpack. His favorite food is spaghetti and his favorite animal is a lizard.

Liliana comes to us from Maryland. She likes to go swimming and play with her dogs. She likes our school because she likes to go to the playground. Lily is a good reader.

We are each going to have a page on our first grade website where you can see some of our work. We are using Pixi.2 to design our cover page. Well let you know when were ready to launch.

STEM! Literally!

Stem stands for science, technology, engineering and math. We are integrating many disciplines. We planted seeds. As our plants grow we are drawing, measuring, and writing observations.
