1.2.

Answer Yes to the Security Alert question. You should see the Successfully Logged In text now.

A note about the Nursing Research subject headingAbout the Research, Nursing Subject Heading
Note: Typing nursing research in the search box and changing the field to Subject Heading will not retrieve nursing research studies.

Comment [CB1]: Note deleted. This entire section is not a note as has been used elsewhere on the document. It is a "section," and as such, deserves a section heading.

Comment [CB2]: Using the light bulb for hints and notes is consistent with the rest of the document Comment [CB3]: The illustration below this text gives subject heading" as an example, but within the text, only uses "subject." Which is correct? Comment [CB4]: The horizontal line is unecessary

Keep in mind that typing nursing research in one of the search boxes and change the field to Subject will not retrieve nursing research studies.
Comment [CB5]: I would recommend deleting this illustration. It breaks up the flow of text unnecessarily and neither explains previous instructions nor adds new information.

The Research, Nursing subject heading directs CINAHL to find articles with general information on the scope or conduct of nursing research rather than research studies on a specific nursing topic. While the Research, Nursing subject heading isn't a good choice for finding quantitative research articles, it is helpful when searching for articles ABOUT the nursing research process to support your Discussion Board postings. See below for a video and slideshow Powerpoint presentation on how to look for articles on the topic of nursing research.
