JOHN W.

GARVY

To Whom It May Concern: Jason is a sweet, caring and considerate third grader. I have known Jason for three years as his special education teacher at John W. Garvy School. Jason is currently labeled as developmentally delayed on his current Individualized Education Plan (IEP). He receives speech and occupational therapy within the school. He would benefit from services that could be provided outside of the school. Jason tries very hard in school but does require maximum assistance and modifications so that he is able to complete assignments and tasks within the general education classroom. Jason is a very creative story-teller and loves to complete crafts or science projects. In conclusion, I would highly recommend Jason to participate in your organization to increase his social, speaking and life skills. Jason will work hard to participate in your activities once he builds a rapport with you. If you need any additional information, feel free to contact me at 773-534-1185 or by email at raroussell@cps.edu anytime. Sincerely,
