Small Business Marketing with Heather Katawazi
Heather Katawazi has been in the marketing and communications field for years, where she was responsible for developing and implementing complex marketing campaigns and collateral materials, and also oversaw a brand conversion process to one of the worlds most recognizable brands. Heather has also held positions in human resources, training and development, and retail sales and customer service. She also spent two years doing stand-up comedy in New York City, so be ready to laugh and have a great time during her presentations Areas of focus in this workshop include marketing basics that prepare you to rev up your business and jumpstart your marketing program, information to help you define your business position and brand, how-tos for creating print and broadcast ads that work, ideas for getting the word out without advertising, including information on direct mail, brochures, publicity, promotions, and steps to follow to build your own easy-to-assemble marketing plan.
