The palette lets you create and modify your stair, edit individual stair components, save your preferred stair settings, automatically cut holes in a slab associated with the stair and access the ArchiStair on-line help

Custom Stairs ArchiStair Philosophy Similarly to StairMaker, ArchiStair lets you create free-form stairs by defining their shape with ArchiCAD Fills. ArchiStair doesnt need the walking-line definition and you can use more than one fill because the selected fills dont only identify the stair perimeter shape but also each component (flights, landings, special freeform treads). Each fill must have one side in common with the connected ones (the previous and the next). The final stair perimeter shape can also be self-intersecting or overlapping in order to get complex stair 3D models
