To begin with, the Ministry should abolish this exam because it is not a reliable assessment about students real

aptitude. This can be attributed to some reasons. The first one is that this exam tends to test students memory, their scope for working under pressure instead of their knowledge understanding. For years, students have been thrown into an exam-orientated learning environment in which they are encouraged to make efforts to sail through the exam, not to broaden their hori ons. To pass with flying colors, they must focus on what will be asked in the exams and ignore the other information. They are forced to memorise their knowledge even when they have no idea of it.
