Cut words apart and separate into categories, spelling pattern, or concept

1. Take home extra word sheet that is passed out in class. It should be highlighted too! 2. Write the Word Sort on a carefully folded sheet of notebook paper. 3. Keep the sheet at home to study this week. Turn in notebook paper sort.

Using a dictionary or laptop-(when available or when words are not in dictionary), look up words and list definitions, parts of speech, guide words, etc.

1. On a sheet of notebook paper, neatly write 10 sentences selecting spelling words that interest you. 2. Listen for the sentence prompts. !

Bumblebee Sheet Ask me for number of points today.

1. On a scratch sheet of paper, use The Betty System for all of your words. 2. On another clean sheet of notebook paper, write your words in ABC order.
