I am eager to start another fabulous year here at Washington Elementary. Here at Washington Elementary our mission statement is "Providing a World-Class Education for children who will make a difference in the world." We teach and implement important values such as: trustworthiness, responsibility, citizenship, fairness, family, caring, and respect. I believe in the power of education. I promise to be caring, understanding, willing, accepting, and motivating. My educational philosophy will appeal to all students. Each child is different, therefore my instructional strategies will vary in order to be learning fun and effective. My classroom will be a community we will build together. Every student, myself, and with your support will create a safe and inviting classroom for learning. We will do this by establishing classroom management that will be organized and consistent. I will do my best to inform you on all that your child is doing. I will send home a folder that will contain homework, newsletters, and or past assignments.
