Pollution

Mans First Environment Problem.

Introduction
Pollution is the introduction by man into the environment of contaminants that contains harmful substances.

Types of Pollution
1. Water Pollution
2. Air Pollution

3. Land Pollution
4. Soil pollution

5. Noise pollution

Water Pollution
The waste from factories are thrown in river, lakes etc. With this water get polluted and some people throw garbage in water, with this aquatic animals die.

Air Pollution

The smoke from factories and from cars pollute the atmosphere. With this we get problem in breathing and we get many diseases like Asthma etc.

Land Pollution

Some people throw garbage in the field etc. With this land get polluted and crops do not grow properly.

Soil pollution

Cutting down of trees, dumping of Waste materials lead term soil pollution. This causes disasters such as drought.

Noise pollution

Noise from vehicles, loud speakers leads to noise pollution. This is the major cause of heart diseases and deafness too.

Causes of pollution
The major cause of pollution are we human beings. We cause pollution through factories, industries, dumping of wastes, cutting down of trees. All leads to pollution in one way.

Disadvantages
Disadvantages of pollution are:- dead animals - dead plants - harms the ecosystems - heat waves Also climate change/global warming - more bugs - more diseases - asthma - heavy breathing - cancer (it varies)

Effects of pollution
These lead to loss of biodiversity also

to global warming and depletion of ozone layer. Which on the whole, effects human beings, causing various diseases such as cancer, asthma, deafness etc.

Governmental contribution

Government of India should take some steps

related to this matter. Pollution should be discouraged and serious steps should be taken towards this matter against people who cause it.

Human contribution

We as Indians and citizens should

contribute to it by growing one tree on any occasion, by not polluting water, by throwing garbage in dustbins and by working together.

Contribution by students
We as students should work together as make

people aware by making pamphlets and posters .It is well said that children are the future of nation. So future must lie in better hands.
