Alternate interview sources for the hard news story we have decided on. A police person (preferably who work with/to protect the elderly)- This interview would be suitable as it could give us information concerning crimes against the elderly and how they can be prevented. A social worker (preferably who works with/ to protect elderly people)- who go give us an insight (from a perspective of power) about hoe elderly people are affected by crime and how they can be protected.

Alternate interview sources for the soft news story we have decide on. Another shop employee (based in Oldham)- who could give us an insight into what the extra shoppers (who have visited GAME to buy GTA V) means to their own company. A parent (whose child plays GTA)- to give us their opinion of the game, and how they believe it affects their child.

Alternate interview sources for off the wall story we have decided on. For our Off the wall story we used vox pops, instead of interviews, however the interviews we could have used are: The manager of the football club- who could give us his reasoning behind having his football team play a game of bingo, (essentially an expert opinion. A member of the football team- who could give us an expert opinion of what playing a game of bingo as a team, means as a team.

Alternate hard news stories, interviewees and questions. Alternate story 1- Young teenage boys (13 and 14 years old) arrested on suspicion of attempted murder of a 19 year old man. For this story we could interview a member of Greater Manchester police department. Alternate story 2- 3 people arrested in connection with a brothel being operated in Rochdale. For this story we could interview a member of Greater Manchester police department.

Alternate soft news stories, interviewees and questions.

Alternate story 1-Police chief warns officers to stop pulling sickies to spend the d ay recovering from a hangover. For this story we could interview a police a boss who has staff which do this, or a member of staff which pulls sickies. Alternate story 2-Tesco profits slump by 24.5% as rival Sainsburys piles on the pressure with sales rise. For this story we could interview a representative of Sainsburys, or the local shoppers at Sainsburys.

Alternate off the wall stories, interviewees and questions. Alternative story 1- 25 years of delivering milk, the nations favourite milkman For this story we could interview the winner (Kevin Dyer) to find out what he thinks of the award he has been given. Alternative story 2- Clothes donated by David and Victoria Beckham have gone on sale at a charity shop in southwest London, including a wall filled with designer shoes.
For this story we could interview the shop manager, who runs the charity shop these shoes were sold at, to see how these products affected the amount of people who visited it.
