Bring Your Green Thumb to Anam Cara Garden Days

an you spare a few hours on a weekend to do some gardening at Anam Cara? Were planting our California native landscape (including some redwood trees!) and can use your help. Please come for however long you can and bring snacks to share. No RSVP is required. Call Mitch Metzner at 310-876-4489 if you have questions, or for the address and directions if youve never been to Anam Cara. In 2014, our Garden Days will be held the first Sunday of each month except in March.

Come to a Hospice Volunteer Community Potluck

n the third Thursday night of each month, Anam Cara is hosting monthly Hospice Volunteer Community Potlucks for individuals interested or involved in providing comfort and emotional support to home hospice patients. The next one will be held December 19 from 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. in Topanga. The address will be provided upon RSVP. Bring your favorite dish to share. The meetings are open to volunteers for support, team building, and educational opportunities and to others seeking end-oflife information or opportunities to volunteer.
