Context and objectives The strengthening of the road network will support economic development as well as future projects of investment and production in the country by connecting the major centers of activity, the population, and export areas which are the deep waters ports of Gabon. In 2010, the road network in Gabon was covering 9 170 kilometers including 936 km of paved roads, and 7,600 km of roads made of laterite. The National infrastructure master plan defined a plan of improvement and strengthening of road infrastructure on the corridors of the Transgabonais with extensions to Port-Gentil and Belinga and on the North and South corridors.

Description This stretch of 124 km will connect Medouneu, Sam and Mitzic and develop Northern Corridor
