Our Learning For the first few weeks of the Autumn term we will be learning all about ourselves. We will be learning about different body parts, how to take care of ourselves and the importance of living a healthy lifestyle.
Our next topic will be Fairytales where we will be reading lots of traditional fairy tales. We will use our role play area to dress up as our favourite characters, act out the stories and making masks to add to our role play.
In maths we will be looking at counting to 10 and back to 0 and extending this further if children are ready. We will be ordering numbers to 10 and beyond using lots of different and exciting resources to help us.
In literacy we will be sequencing stories, writing our names and moving onto simple sentences.
Autumn 2: Our topic will be witches and wizards, we will be linking this to festivals and the use of light in celebrations, we will also be connecting this to Halloween and bonfire night.
