Objectives:
The learner will be able to compare and contrast asexual and sexual reproduction including the types and number of cells involved, and the number of genes passed from parent to offspring. (MPS7-15) o Recognize when sexual reproduction occurs, the offspring is not identical to either parent due to the combining of the different genetic codes contained in each sex cell o Identify chromosomes as cellular structures that occur in pairs that carry hereditary information in units called genes
