October 1, 2013 Mr. Joe March Head of Search Committee Rogers Little Theater 116 South 2nd Street Rogers, Arkansas 72756 Greetings Mr. March: Kevin Lancaster contacted me about the opening of the Rogers Little Theater, Theater Manager position. When Kevin asked if I would be interested in this position, I was excited that I was getting the opportunity to potentially work with such a great organization like RLT again. Following my internship with Rogers Little Theater, I quickly realized the enjoyment I got from working in an assistant management position and executing project management work. With this new found interest I used my last year in college to take classes that would help teach me about the skills that are necessary to succeed in these roles. Through my internship with RLT I learned to love the theater, volunteers, and patrons. I also learned many operations tasks that make me the perfect candidate for the theater manager position. Some of the day-to-day task that were taught to me was, how to run Ticketstage.com, the proper customer service that is expected of the theater manager with the new and returning patrons, and many of the other building operations. I am also confident in training the front of house volunteers so that the tables are set properly and again the level of customer service is upheld. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
