Assembly of Republic of Kosovo, Based on Article 65 (1) of the Constitution of Republic of Kosovo, Re-emphasizing that Republic of Kosovo is independent, sovereign, democratic state and multiethnic society with European principles, Emphasizing our commitment in protection of sovereignty and territorial integrity of Republic of Kosovo, Reaffirming the engagement of Republic of Kosovo for its Euro-Atlantic future and good neighboring relationships, Re-emphasizing the commitment of Republic of Kosovo for protection of the rights of all its citizens, including the rights of communities and right of dual citizenship, taking into consideration that all who have dual citizenship in European countries have the rights to vote in parliamentary elections which shall be held in the countries in which they have the respective citizenship,

In plenary session held on 15 March 2012, approved this:

Resolution
1. We emphasize that it is infringement of sovereignty and violence of good neighboring relationships, to organize unilaterally general and local elections in another European state; 2. We conclude that Assembly of Republic of Kosovo shall not permit holding the election of Serbia in Kosovo and shall oblige the Government of Republic of Kosovo to execute this decision.

3. Assembly of Republic of Kosovo and Government of Republic of Kosovo, unanimously emphasize that citizens of Republic of Kosovo are united against holding of any election process which would mine state sovereignty of Kosovo, would violate its territorial integrity and consequently would mine interethnic process of conciliation in Kosovo; 4. Assembly of Republic of Kosovo confirms that all political parties, either those of position or opposition, will work together in compliance with European principles, International Law and Constitution of Republic of Kosovo.
