Mckay Dear Parents/Guardians, In order to guarantee your child and all of the students in my classroom the excellent learning environment they deserve, I am utilizing the following discipline this school year. I believe all of my students can behave appropriately in the classroom. I should not have any of my teaching disturbed by unnecessary interruptions. Other students should not be prevented from learning by distracting behavior. We should all behave with the best interest of all class members in mind. CLASS RULES- Remember to be BEARS! 1. Be on time and ready to learn. 2. Everyone should be treated nicely. 3. Always try your best! 4. Raise your hand. 5. Show respect for our classroom and our school. STUDENTS WHO BEHAVE WILL EARN 1. Gotcha slips (to be used towards Treasure Box) 2. Coins 3. Points for team effort, resulting in an opportunity to pick a surprise from Treasure Box. 4. Choice of activity- educational puzzles, games, and computer use. 5. Praise and Awards It is in your childs best interest that we work together. Please follow through and support the behavior reports you receive. (If your son or daughter has issues that make it difficult to follow this behavior plan, please contact me, the school counselor, school psychologist, or principal or we can write an Individualized Behavior Plan that would address any problems.) I have read and understand the classroom discipline plan. I also agree to follow the plan. Grade: 2
