Characters: Daniel - a young office worker Hugo - a nerd who have bad students teasing and bullying him Kai - a quiet student whose parents are pressuring him to study when he wants to dance (friend of Hugo) Leon - a homeless guy (a former b-boy) (friend of Daniel) Joel - a young pastor (friend of Leon) (uncle of Hugo) Setting: Hugos room, audition, practicing room Story: (Beginning) In this busy, merciless, hopeless, and boring world, there are five young men who lives every day in pressure by studies, friends, employer, money, and people around them. One freezing morning, Hugo and Kai got up for school, Daniel, a young timid office worker washed his face to go to work. As usual, Joel starts his day by praying to the Lord, and for Leon, of course, as a homeless guy, hes tired because he have been walking all night to find somewhere a warm place to sleep. As Daniel entered his office, he saw a big poster on the door written, The Super Star Y. This was the worlds favorite talent audition program poster! Daniel always wanted to be a singer before, but since he had a poor family, he had to start working from eighteen years old, right after he graduated high school. Eventually, his dreams were totally neglected. Suddenly, Daniels phone rang loudly. As he received the call, it was his employer and he wanted to meet him at 4 oclock. He sighed deeply at the ground and slowly dragged himself into the office. It was 4 oclock, Daniel helplessly drifted to his young employer, Josephs room. As he entered the room, something hard and wide was thrown to his face. Are you kidding me? Your report is rubbish. I want you to rewrite it! Joseph screamed at Daniel and quickly went near the door and sneered at him, and left the room. This repeated several times even before. As he picked up the thrown bunch of report, the paper bag wasnt opened, the cover was stuck with glue like when Daniel first submitted the report to Joseph. This time Daniel couldnt control his anger, so he ripped the report and threw them onto the floor, then he wrote a resignation and left it on Josephs desk. He immediately packed hes things and came out from the office. He was breathing fast and hard. As he pushed the gate, he saw the poster again. Then he tore and took the poster with him. (Middle) What is this? Is this your progress report from school? I wish its not yours, if it is yours, Ill going to hit you until you cant walk. said Kais father. It is mine dad... said Kai. That afternoon, Kai was hit by his father for three hours with a wooden stick then he got a huge cut on his right leg. It was midnight, Kai packed his clothes and took some money then run away from home, because he couldnt bare the pressure from his parents. The next day, Kai saw the Super Star Y poster, he called his friend, Hugo and asked him if he wants to join the audition. Hugo agreed with him right away, because he wanted to revenge to the students who bullied and teased him. Leon, a young homeless guy, was walking to the rubbish bin in the street to find something to eat. Then he saw a tore poster of the Super Star Y audition on the ground. He was a b-boy when he was in high school, however, his parents broke up and both of them refused to take Leon with them, so he became homeless. When he was young, he had a friend who always admired him, it was Joel, a

pastor, and he also wanted to be a good dancer like Leon. Since, five of them knew each other, in somehow, they met several times and practiced for the audition. Mostly the place for practicing was Hugos house, who had the biggest room among the five of them. (Ending) After many practices and efforts, they were able to pass the first audition. The second audition was broadcasting all over U.S.A. so everyone practiced with passion and dream that theyll going to be a real band one day. On the day of the second audition, in the waiting room, Kai was looking at the mirror, arranging his hair before going up to the stage. Unexpectedly, the chair behind him fell on his right leg and pressed the cut that he had before. The cut opened and it started to bleed abundantly. Kai cried in agony and everyone came to help him. If Kai is not on the stage with us, we wont pass this audition! cried Leon. Do you think you could still dance on the stage? asked Hugo. Ill try. Whispered Kai. The next band please come up to the stage! said the staff. As soon as the members heard the staffs instruction, they slowly went up to the stage with Kai. First, please introduce your group to the audience and start your performance. said the judge. Good morning everyone! Today well going to perform b-boying. Then it was turn for Kai to perform the airchair spin. When he lowered his body to spin, he couldnt bare the pain on his right leg and fell down on the stage. The audience made a sound of disappointment and booed at him, but Kai and other members didnt gave up and danced every skills theyve prepared. The performance was over, and it was time for judges. We were disappointed with your few big mistakes on the stage. However we could see that you guys has practiced and performed passionately. Therefore, we all agreed to pass this team. Now you could debut as a real performance group. Then the audience cheered and clapped rejoicingly. Moral: A winner is someone who gets up one more time than he is knocked down.
