PHYSICAL EDUCATION GRADING PROCEDURES

Attire = 100 points Attire, for every 3 checks minus 5 points for not dressing out Does not apply to absences Participation = 100 points Participation, for every 3 checks minus 5 points for not participating Tardy, for being late every 3 times minus 5 points Does not apply to absences Homework = 100 points Homework, each assignment worth 10 points Fitness Test = 100 points Test consists of pushups, sit-ups, shuttle run Points based upon performance improvement and effort Bonus Points/Rewards Participate in extra physical activities after school, Show proof to receive points or rewards Points will vary and Rewards will vary from gift cards to various stores to in class rewards (activity pass, student teacher for a day, etc.) Grading Criteria 400-360=A, 359-320=B, 319-280=C, 279-240=D, < 239 = F

In the event that a student is consistent with points subtracted, student-parent conferences are necessary
