German Jordanian University Electronics Lab Expirement #3 Post-Lab

In this lab we are going to know the behavior of the clipper diode and types . First we are going to show you the positive clipper diode and what we got on the function oscilloscope :

In this circuit we see that the positive part is clipped at 0.7 V.

Second we also made a negative clipper by changing the diode direction .

As we see here the direction of the diode is changed in the circuit shown . And in the oscilloscope the negative part of the wave is clipped at the same value of 0.7 V .

In the third part we saw the clipping in both the positive and negative but we dont have the photo of the oscilloscope wave . In this part we see that both positive and negative are clipped in 0.7 V .

In the fourth type we see a shift in the voltage of the two waves in the positive direction and the difference is 0.7 V between the two waves.

In the last part we made the same procedure in the other direction of voltage and saw that the shift is in the negative side .
