I claim my egg astronaut did not survive in the egg drop container a height of the basketball hoop.

My egg did not survive. I think, my egg did not survive because I needed another sock on the egg. Also, it did not survive because I did not have enough protection around my egg. My egg survived the one meter, two meters, three meters, and four meter, but did not survive 11 meters. Second of all,The things I could have done better. First,I could had put more shredded paper around the egg. All so, I could have added another sock on the egg. The last thing is, I used Newton's third law in this way. First, with less mass on your egg it will fall softer but with more mass it will fall harder. When I dropped it from the hight of the basketball hoop the force pushed it down, when it hit the ground it was sideways that was a weak point of the egg so it cracked. With all that force on it and it landing on its side, means it broke. In conclusion, my egg broke at the hight of the basketball hoop. Newtons rst law is Inertia. I used Newton's rst law in this way, when Mr. Blankenship before he dropped it, was not in motion but when he did drop it was in motion. Newtons second law, explains acceleration. When Mr. Blankenship dropped my egg it turned on its side. Which is acceleration. My mass was 193 grams, it weighed a lot. In conclusion, acceleration was a big part of my egg project. !
