Basic Triangular Unit

1. Start with a piece of A4 paper and cut it into 12 strips as follows. Fold the strips in half crosswise.

2. Valley fold again

3. Fold the top edges down to lie along the centre line created in 2.

4. Turn the model over.

5. Valley fold both sides as indicated

6. Fold the triangular tab up on both sides.

7. Fold the left side onto right side. The directionality is critical here. Do not fold the left side behind the right half.

8. When done, the unit should have two tabs and two pockets.
