SIMULATION ANALYSIS 3: INSTRUMENT TEST & EFFECTS EVALUATION

A. RESEARCH MODEL Suppose you have a research model consisting of five research variables as follows:

Eko Alpha Bravo Delta

B. RESEARCH HYPOTHESES 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. H1: Alpha influences Bravo positively. H2: Bravo influences Charlie negatively. H3: Bravo immediates the relationship between Alpha and Charlie. H4: Eko moderates the relationship between Bravo and Charlie. H5: Delta moderates the relationship between Bravo and Charlie.

C. SIMULATIONS 1. Instrument Validity & Reliability Test a. Using a factor analysis, check the convergent validity of the research instruments. Which measurement items can pass the test? Please we use a minimum loading factor 0.4 as your cut off. b. Using a reliability analysis (Cronbach Alpha), check the reliability of the instrument. Which variable can pass the test? 2. Classical Assumption Checks a. Normality Test (Kolmogorov-Smirnov)

b. Multicollinearity Test using these criteria: Tolerance score above 0.10 Variance Inflation Factor (VIF) below 10 3. Descriptive Statistic a. Calculate mean and standar deviation of each variablel. b. Find correlation score among variables. 4. Hypothesis Testing Test all research hypotheses with 95% confidence level ( = 0.05). D. REPORTING 1. Write your report on MS-Word concisely responding 4 analytical instructions above. 2. You have to include any important output table of each simulation. 3.
