Monday PE / Music Tuesday Library / PE Wednesday Art Thursday Music / PE Friday PE / Library Reading Please have your child read OUT LOUD to you for at least 20 minutes each night for their homework. Reading out loud really helps build their fluency. Encourage them to use expression and read smoothly. The amount of time spent reading is the one most influential factor in reading development!! Field Trip Weve had a change in date- we are now going to Cowboys Stadium on Wednesday April 24th! If you volunteered, make sure you are free to go on Wednesday. The students will go on a tour and also have some questions to answer. I will send out more information soon!

Treasure Box One mans trash is another mans treasure. Our treasure box is getting a little low, and before I go stock up, I wanted to see if anyone had any old treasures they would like to donate? ! Old happy meal toys, pencils, stickers, tattoos, etc. are always fun to have! If you have any small little toys that might bring joy to another kids eyes, wed love to take them off of your hands! !

Quarter Party The class is getting close to earning another quarter party!!! We took a class vote and we will be having a game party. We will play board games at the end of the day! Because of the short weeks, we are aiming for Thursday, April 4th. We will provide popcorn as a snack for them as well. I am so proud of the students for earning a party so quickly! ! That means they are really working hard on excellent classroom behavior! Reading Log Make sure your student is filling out their reading log each night. Every Friday I add up the minutes and they get to track them on the board. Its a great incentive to get them to read at home- so please encourage them!
