A drive through wildlife safari where customers observe and feed animals in a natural habitat Role: Ranch Hand Perform duties to keep park grounds and roads in operable condition and professional appearance. This included tractor work, mowing, edging maintaining well kept appearance and inviting to the park guests. Animal care and feeding of the more than 400 park animals including many species on the conservation endangered list. This included putting out round bales of hay at multiple locations and multi-weekly feeding of all animals throughout each week. Monitor all animlas throughout the park, observe new births, photograph interactions, keep park environment safe and secure for all animals. Monitor park fences which included daily examination of all park perimeter fences guarding against entrance by outside preditors such as coyotes, foxes, and other animals that would offer a threat to the resident park species. Perform immediate repairs as needed and otherwise provide status update to park management for more detailed and scheduled maintenance needs. Monitor part roads which entailed daily early morning driving of the roads to observe road conditions and observe park ground conditions, as well as general animal status. Provide status update to park management to schedule road repairs as needed and state of grounds and animal conditions observed. This helps ensure safety and security of park visitors as well as the resident aniumal species. Volunteer services also provided on periodically from 2007 through 2012.
