Paul Horstmeyer Software Resource Assignment The software I chose is a website with supplemental mathematical programs and activities.

The name of the website is the National Library of Virtual Manipulatives and it is run by Utah State University. The software includes puzzles for all ages, including 8th grade algebra, and has over 20 different programs and topics to choose from. The website even informs you of which standard is being covered through the activity. The website is also very easy to navigate. The Factor Tree program, for example, has a simple set-up, with on-screen instructions. Yet although the website has many supplemental activities, many mathematical topics are left out, such as many calculus- and statistic-based problems.
