1. Areas of strength:

Ms. Howard has demonstrated good management of the classroom using positive reinforcement for disciplinary issues as they arose. Her interactions with students was always positive even when correcting behaviors. She is very receptive to suggestions and listens attentively. Her planning that was observed was adequate for the lesson. She is mature in her approach to teaching and is well organized. Ms. Howard is well on her way to becoming an excellent teacher.
