Green Bay Public School District Green Bay Public School district is home to the 5th largest school

district in the state of Wisconsin educating over 21,000 students through Preschool- 12th grade. The school district also allows anybody to participate in school tours by filling out and submitting a request on the District home page. The principals are more than welcomes to show their school to individuals interested in their schools. The mission sentence is that we ensure that all students are college, career and community ready, inspired to succeed in our diverse community. The biggest concern today is how much tuition will cost to attend classes at UWGB. The estimated costs for direct costs cover tuition, food, housing, and textbooks. Indirect costs include transportation, clothing, entertainment and insurance. Students can also apply for financial aid or scholarships to reduce the original price of tuition. Estimated Indirect Expenses: Books and Supplies- $800 Food costs $3,108 Average Housing $4,116 Additional Personal Expenses $3,292 Total Indirect Expenses $11,316 Athletics: The Green Bay Phoenix are a NCAA Division one school and competes in the Horizon conferences with other schools like Milwaukee, Youngstown State, Valparaiso, Wright State, Cleveland State, Detroit, Illinois- Chicago and Oakland. For Men Green Bay offers Basketball, cross country, golf, Nordic skiing, soccer swimming and diving, and tennis. For the women they offer basketball, cross country, golf, Nordic skiing, soccer, softball, swimming and diving, tennis and volleyball. Conclusion: Classes at UWGB are taught through labs, lecture, discussions, events, fieldwork, internships and independent activity.
