Abdomen Ultrasound Examination report

Real time B-mode ultrasonography of abdomen shows the liver filled with homogenous parenchymal
echoes.
No abscess or mass lesion is seen in the liver.
No evidence of dilated intrahepatic biliary radicals.
No evidence of enlarged porta hepatis nodes seen.
Gall bladder is well distended and appears normal. No calculi or pericholecystic fluid is seen
Common duct appears normal. No calculi seen.
Pancreas appears normal.
Spleen appears normal.
No portal hypertension.
Aorta appears normal. No para aortic nodes are seen.
Right kidney measures 104x46mm
Cortex and collecting system of right kidney appears normal
No calculi or obstructive uropathy.
Left kidney measures 108x45mm.
Cortex and collecting system of left kidney appears normal.
No calculi or obstructive uropathy.
Bladder appears normal. No intravesical calculi is seen.
Appendix is not well visualized due to loaded caecum.
Jejunal -ilieal loops with ileocaecal junction appear normal.
No free fluid or collection is seen in peritoneal or pleural spaces.
Prostate measures 36x44x41mm and shows moderate enlargement.. No focal cystic or solid
lesion. Weight: 37gms

Comments: Moderate prostate enlargement.


Normal liver gall bladder, common duct, pancreas, spleen, aorta, both kidneys,
Bladder.
