Nutrition Intervention

NFSC 431: Foodservice Equipment and Production Systems Skill Area: Food Service Management Assignment Title: Logic Model What I learned: In this assignment I created a nutrition intervention logic model that included background, outputs, inputs and an outcome. I then created a survey to distribute to the population this logic model included to evaluate if it would be an effective intervention. Reflection of the assignment: This assignment made me realize how important it is to design a logic model when designing an intervention. There are so many different aspects that need to be considered when designing an intervention that can make it a failure or success. I appreciate the skills this assignment gave me to create a nutrition intervention of my own. Relevance to the profession: Designing a nutrition intervention with the use of a logic model is important to the Nutrition and Food Science field. The skills I learned from this assignment can be used in all professions that fall under this field, whether it is in clinical, community or food management.
