Wooden Blocks-Create a forest with wooden blocks and use wooden people as Wild Things and Max
Forest-Forest created out of paper trees. Students dress up as wild things and use a boat to sail to where the wild things are.

Monster Hands- Using foam hand cutouts, pick out foam nails to add to your hands and create monster hands! Save these and use them in the forest. Crowns- Using construction paper and other art supplies you will create your own crown to become the king/queen of the wild things. Add writing or a drawing of what you would do if you were king/queen of the Wild Things.
Wild Things- Using sand, toy trees, and toy boats travel to where the wild things are and create the forest they live in.
Grow a Forest- Grow a forest in the classroom by planting beans and watching them grow.
