Generate control file trace from source system and keep a backup Edit the control file trace. Clear the data in sapdata1,2,4.., origlogA, origlogB, mirrlogA, mirrlogB, oraarch of target system. Backup applied in target system Place the edited SQL control file script to oracle home directory. Now start oracle on no-mount mode and run the SQL script to generate control file. Recover data base using backup control file. Open database with resetlog option. Run the script ORADBUSR.SQL according to note 50088, this will create OPS$ users. Check the user account status through SQL select username, account_status from dba_users; Change the password of SAPSR3 through brconnect -c -u / -f chpass -o SAPSR3 -password <password>; Check with R3trans d Change the parameter of login/no_automatic_user_sapstar to 0 Start SAP Instance. Delete the old license and apply the new license. Do the post installation activity.
