1. The appointment of library commitee

This activity was held on 11 January 2010. 36 students were choosen as librarian to make sure
the PSS activity going smooth. The ceremony of appoinment, librarian

orentasion and

leadership course was also done on the same day.

2. The launch of NILAM program at school level

After having the first meeting, committee agreed to have NILAM Program launching day on 18
January 2010. It was done during weekly assembly and launching speech was given by head
master, Mr Ang Teck Yoke. With the launching activity, the activities of reading and recording
for the year 2010 began.

3. 10 minutes with books

In the morning, students will be given 10 minutes to read books in the hall before getting into the
class for their learning session. The aim of the program is to increase students interest in
reading. Besides, the students will not waste their time with useless activity.
4. Reading corner in the class
Reading corner in the class or mini library was created to occupy the students while waiting for
their teachers. From this reading corner, students will read the books together with the
classmates.
5. Tidy up ABM workshop
The workshop was held on 15 November 2010, before the school holiday which started on 20
November 2010. All head panels updated their teaching aids for the yearly record.
