3. 2 discussion questions

1.What made Lois decided to give money to Lanier? 2. How did Jackie feel about Lanier? It were last two chapters of Southland and reading it I felt a liitle bit sad to finish it as I got involved in the life of the characters. It was thrilling to read that Frank was going to tell Curtis about his parenthood and Curtis was thinking about it before his death. Also I was full of feelings reading about Lois who decided to give money to Lanier and how Jackie felt about her grandfather by the end of her investigation. Misleading- giving the wrong idea or impression. I think that this word characterizes the whole story as in fact the reader had different expectations from what he got. Reputation- the beliefs or opinions that are generally held
about someone or something. The word is very common and I found it interesting as it has the same meaning in different languages including my own native language. Hearing- proceeding before a court or other decision-making body or officer, such as a government agency. I chose this word as someone could think it means sense of perception but in fact it comes from the law terminology.
