The Berlin Wall

The berlin wall was a huge wall that was dividing West Germany and East Germany so that the miserable people on the east half couldnt run to west Germany. The berlin wall was built in1961. Recently in class, we have been learning about the berlin wall in fact we saw a black and white photo of the berlin wall. Specifically, In the picture we studied a girl who was wearing a knee length dress. In front of her forehead, she had little bangs and she had dirty blond hair. Her dress was a base color of white and above the white of her dress, she had a floral print. In her arms, she was holding an old scuffed up teddy bear. The whole entire background was the berlin wall. Unfortunately, she was standing crying and looking up at the wall. On the bottom, she was wearing white ankle length socks with a precise trim. Lastly she was wearing beige shoes that looked muddy and worn down. In the meantime you could tell the wall was Built sloppily, it was rotting, tall, mortar in-between bricks, and barbed wire at the top. I think that its mean to put up a big wall like that and trap people. Sure enough, the wall came down in 1989.
