VOLUNTEER/SERVICE WORK Indianapolis Public Schools, Indianapolis, IN 2012-2013 Service Learning (40 hours) Volunteered 20 hours in each of two first-grade classrooms. Worked with individual students and small groups to improve reading skills. Supervised stations and other activities as the classroom teacher needed. Became familiar with lesson planning, standards, and testing in the district. Performed various tasks at the classroom teachers discretion.
